A charity roadshow will be rolling into Lancashire this Dementia Awareness Week.
Members of the Alzheimer Society will be on Preston’s Flag Market on Thursday, May 22, between 10am and 4pm, and in Tescos in Carnforth, the day before, between the same hours.
Staff will be offering free information and advice, as well as promoting the benefits of an early diagnosis.
Mark Reeves of the charity said: “We all bury our heads in the sand from time to time but it is important to seek help. The sooner you know what you’re dealing with, the sooner you can get on with your life and feel in control again.”
