Tourism chiefs have named some of Lancashire’s best loved attractions in a new guide.

With over 60 million visitors to the county each year, the new Lancashire Visitor Guide 2013 has outlined some of the great places to visit for tourists to add to their itinerary.

Included in the guide is Preston’s 21 mile cycle route, the Guild Wheel alongside Brockholes Nature Reserve and for those who prefer viewing the Lancashire countryside on two legs instead two wheels, the Tolkien Trail; made famous by a certain trilogy of books.
