IT’S time to dig out that running kit as Preston Sport Relief is here again.

On Sunday, March 23 the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile will be setting off from Avenham and Miller Parks with hundreds of locals getting on their marks, set and go for Sport Relief.

Jimmy Khan, head of sport and leisure at Preston Council, said: “This is the sixth time the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile has come to Preston so let’s don the headband, get training and show the rest of the country what we can do. There will be plenty of activities on the day so don’t forget to rope in your mates, family, other half and colleagues too.”

The Sport Relief Mile is open to all. Visit: sportrelief.com.

If you are taking part in any Sport Relief event we want to know about it. Whether you are running the Sport Relief mile or organising your own sporting challenge, film yourself or others taking part, and share your footage to our Facebook page.
