Dance to heat up the nights

Dance: Calaita Flamenco Son

Dance: Calaita Flamenco Son

An evening of authentic Flamenco music will brush the winter blues away at a concert in Lancaster.

Calaita is the work of singer Chico Pere and flamenco guitarist Glenn Sharp, who, along with a six piece music group and dancer, Gloria Lopez Castejon, play authentic, traditional flamenco and contemporary flamenco rumbas.

Formed in 2008 as a music and dance group, Calaita, who developed a large fan-base and regularly sell out their shows, will play at the Lancaster Institue of Contemporary Arts at Lancaster University on Thursday, December 6.

And as part of this exciting evening, audiences are invited to join in for an introduction to flamenco and its rhythmic secrets in a pre-concert talk.

To book tickets, get involved and for more information all events, prices and concessions visit www.liveatlica.org or call 01524 594151.
