Mayor of Preston Coun Margaret McManus officially opened the ffacility, before crowds watched professional demonstrations.

She said: “It was fantastic. I honestly believe it will be one of the best things Preston has done for quite some time.

“I did a small speech just to say how I thought it was an absolutely wonderful thing.

“There is a lot going on in our parks, I think we have a lot to be proud of in Preston.”

Moor Park councillor John Collins added: “I’m delighted that we have this facility on Moor Park, and the number of young people using it at the opening showed how popular it will be.”
