Police are appealing for help to trace a man who caused criminal damage to student accommodation in Preston.
Officers say the incident happened at around 8.15pm on Sunday May 3 at a set of flats on Tithebarn Street.
It is thought the man engaged in conversation with a resident at one of the upper floor windows before making numerous attempts to kick open a communal door.
He went inside in search of the occupant of the flat before leaving without further incident. Around £400 worth of damage was caused to the door.
PC Paul Goulding of Preston Police said: “I would urge the public to watch the footage and pass on any information that could help us to identify the man involved. The footage also shows the man with a group of people including a woman with a pram. We are keen to trace any of these witnesses as they may have important information that could help us with our enquiries.”
