A man is still being treated for a serious head injury after he was attacked in Preston.

The 39-year-old, from Preston, is believed to have been walking with a friend when he was approached by a group of men, knocked to the floor and kicked in the head at around 2.30am on Fishergate, Preston on Sunday, June, 7.

Lancashire police believe one of the group is responsible for the attack.

Now the police are appealing for information and they have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to.

DS 1521 Jerry Sturgess of Preston CID said: “These images show the people we want to talk to in relation to this incident.

“I am hoping the men themselves will get in touch but I would ask the public to take a close look and pass on any information about the identity of the men.”
