TWO men have been jailed for a year each over an attack which left a Preston man in hospital for three days.
The 32-year-old victim, Tomas Ossowicz, suffered severe facial injuries, broken ribs, and injuries to his torso following an attack on Walton View in Fishwick, Preston, on July 24 this year.
Police were called to the scene by paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service.
Detectives at Preston CID then launched an investigation.
Lucasz Lesiak, a 25-year-old from Walton View, Preston, and Maciek Onisk, 23, also of Walton View, Preston, both pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding.
Preston Crown Court imposed 12 months imprisonment and a £100 victim surcharge.
Det Sgt Martin Pearson said: “We quickly arrested and charged two men in connection with the incident.”
