Two men arrested after stealing vodka and running on railway tracks

TWO males have been arrested after stealing two bottles of spirits and running over the railway tracks at Leyland station.

The two men stole two bottles of vodka, one Grey Goose and one Cîroc, from Morrisons on Olympian Way, Leyland, before trying to evade police by trespassing on the railway.

Chorley Police did not attempt to cross the railway but managed to arrest the two men shortly after crossing the tracks.

The incident occurred yesterday at 5.30pm
