A man has been stabbed in the foot at a home in Preston.

Emergency services were called to Grizedale Crescent in Ribbleton at about 1.45am on Friday, after reports that a man had been stabbed in the foot with a knife during a “domestic incident”.

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

The 38-year-old and 46-year-old, both from Preston, were bailed until June, pending further inquiries.

The injuries to the victim, who is a 38-year-old man from Preston, were described by police as “not serious”.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 1.44am on March 6 to a report that somebody had been stabbed to the foot during a domestic incident.

“The victim is a 38-year-old man, and two people have been arrested and bailed, pending further inquiries.”
