A judge has postponed sentencing serial sex offender Leslie Foster for five weeks to consider if his powers of punishment are sufficient.

The Toys-R-Us flasher, who was on licence from a life sentence for rape when he approached a seven-year-old girl in the dolls aisle of the store at Preston in February, has admitted exposing himself and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. But after hearing the evidence and Foster’s previous convictions dating back to 1966, Judge Michael Byrne adjourned sentencing until November 24 to consider his options.

Foster, 63, of Spendmoor Lane, Coppull near Chorley, was only released from a life sentence in December 2012.
