Police have issued another dispersal notice to try to stop youths lobbing fireworks on Preston estates.
Officers and members of the public had fireworks thrown at them in Ribbleton and Callon on Thursday night.
The Evening Post reported earlier this week on similar incidents around Waverley Park in Preston.
A further dispersal order, barring them from the area, was put in place for Friday night.
Insp Paul McLernon said innocent residents had been targeted.
He said: “This has to stop before someone is seriously injured.
“I would appeal for those teenagers involved to think about how their actions affect others”
He added parents of teenagers previously moved on by police were being visited yesterday to warn them about what was happening and “hopefully to get them to take responsibility for their children.”
