Man stabbed at house party in Preston

A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed at a house party in Preston.

Police were called to Norris Street at 3am on Saturday, where a 40-year-old man had been stabbed with what is thought to be a Stanley knife or craft knife.

He was left with a four-inch cut to his cheek and shoulder and taken to Royal Preston Hospital.

Police said he was “conscious and breathing”.

Investigations are ongoing, and a man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the incident.
