Man stabbed at a house in Preston

Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed at an address in Preston on Friday afternoon.

Officers were called to a house in Brixton Road, Frenchwood by paramedics following reports that a man had sustained a wound to his arm.

The victim, a 32-year-old local man, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.

He is currently in a stable condition and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The incident happened at around 1.45pm and police are keen to speak to anyone who saw a black coloured car drive off from the address.
