Man made threat to kill and sent texts

Christopher Brown, 23, of Station Road, Bamber Bridge, Preston, has been found guilty harassing a man and woman in Chorley by sending nuisance text messages and threats.

He received an 18 week prison term, suspended for 12 months and was given two restraining orders by the bench at Chorley Magistrates’ Court.

He must also pay £200 compensation to his victims, and pay £200 costs.

Brown admitted a further charge of breaching a conditional discharge he was previously given for damaging a woman’s door in Bamber Bridge.
