Man attacked by gang in Preston

A witness appeal has been launched by police after an assault that happened at about 11.45 pm last night at the junction of Wolseley Place and Boltons Court, Preston.

Following an incident in a city centre public house the male victim was approached by unknown males and was subjected to a vicious assault causing significant injuries.

The first offender is described as a white male, of stocky build, with short dark hair, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5’7” tall, wearing a black cloth bomber style jacket and blue jeans.

The second offender is described as a white male, with mousy brown hair, late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6’0” tall, wearing a short sleeved, brown/beige patterned collared shirt.

A spokesman for Preston Police, said: “This was a terrifying experience for the victim, we would urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police.”
