A 24 year-old man from Chorley has been arrested after an incident in which a Mcdonald’s worker’s nose was broken when a glass was thrown at her.

The incident happened at around 4.20am on Sunday September 28, at the McDonalds in Clifford Street, Chorley.

A man entered the restaurant with a pint glass and threw it at a woman working behind the till. The glass hit the 43-year-old worker and she received treatment at hospital for a broken nose as well as cuts and bruises to her face.

The man has been bailed until November 22, 2014.
