Three men have been sentenced for their part in a brawl which broke out in a lapdancing club.
Levi Wilson, 22, John Kershaw, 26, and Daniel Dinning, 27 – who are all from Preston – admitted being involved in the fracas at the Eden 2 club in Blackpool. In the row, captured on CCTV, the men were seen arguing with another group of men in the lounge area of the club. One man threw a punch and a fight broke out.
Security rushed to the scene to break the brawling men up and all three were thrown out of the club.
Dinning and Wilson tried to get back in but were unsuccessful. No-one was hurt in the incident and all three men pleaded guilty to affray at Preston Crown Court.
Judge Andrew Woolman, sentencing, said: “It may well be that the first blow was struck by somebody from the other group, but everyone from both sides was responsible for the incident erupting.
“It wasn’t by any means the worst incident of its kind but it was unpleasant for anyone who was watching it.”
Dinning, of Eversleigh Street, Preston, and Wilson, of Evans Street, Ashton, were each handed ten-month prison sentences. Kershaw, of Croasdale Avenue, Brookfield, was jailed for eight months.
