Unpaid work for man

A MAN threatened to smash a woman’s windows and damaged another woman’s wall in her home.

John Eastham, 31, of Bowland Road, Moor Nook, Preston, admitted the offences to Preston magistrates 
following an incident in the city on April 8.

He must have alcohol treatment and do 60 hours unpaid work.

The bench ordered him to pay a £60 surcharge and £80 costs.

CHORLEY: A man who breached a restraining order has been jailed for 17 weeks.

Paul Hennerley, 25, of Gilbert Street, Chorley, committed the offence shortly after a suspended prison sentence was imposed, Preston magistrates heard.

He must also pay an £80 surcharge and £180 criminal courts charge, the bench ruled.

PRESTON: A man who twice entered his next door neighbour’s house and stole cash has been given six months in jail, suspended for a year.

Michael Parkinson, 45, of Hassett Close, Preston, was ordered to pay £50 compensation, an £80 surcharge and £85 costs after admitting the offences to magistrates.

PRESTON: Samuel Knowles, 19, Gammull Lane, Ribbleton, Preston, admits possessing cannabis and was discharged for six months.

Magistrates ordered him to pay a £15 surcharge and £150 criminal courts charge.

PRESTON: A man has been ordered to do 81 hours unpaid work after admitting assaulting two men and trespassing on a railway line.

David Littlefair, 52, of Fishwick View, Preston, admitted the offences before Ormskirk Magistrates’ Court.

He was ordered to pay £110 compensation, and a £60 surcharge.

LEYLAND: A man who admits being drunk and disorderly and then assaulting a woman has been given a restraining order by Preston Magistrates’ Court.

Callum Taylor, 21, of St Christine’s Avenue, Farington, Leyland, must pay £20 compensation to her, as well as a £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

PRESTON: A man admits destroying a phone cable and must pay a £35 fine, £5 compensation and £35 costs.

Peter Quirk, 27, of Toulmin Court, Preston, admitted the offence to Preston magistrates.

Jason Freeman, 38, of Grimshaw Street, Preston, was given a curfew after admitting stealing a washing machine and fridge and must pay a £20 surcharge, £140 compensation, and a £180 court charge.

Andrew Beevers, 49, of Church Street, admits breaching a Domestic Violence Protection Order and must pay a £35 fine.

Joanna Tweedale, 46, of Willow Lane, Lancaster, admits four shop thefts and must take part in a rehabilitation requirement and pay £300 compensation.

Johnathan Whinfield, 46, of Arcon Road, Coppull, Chorley, was found guilty of failing to give a driver’s information and must pay a £600 fine, £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

Katrina Wilson, 33, of Dee Road, Lancaster, admits stealing meat and was given a three year conditional discharge but must pay a £15 surcharge.

Richard Pemberton, 41, of Garstang Road, Fulwood, Preston, was found guilty of failing to give a driver’s information and must pay a £600 fine, £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

Alan Buttle, 33, of Bridge Street, Garstang, was found guilty of driving without insurance and must pay a £600 fine, £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

Damien Francisco Steele, 27, of Cotswold Road, Chorley,must obey a curfew after admitting stealing electrical goods, and must also pay a £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

Emmyson Asiimwe, 40, of Carr Lane, Chorley, was found guilty of driving without insurance and must pay a £600 fine, £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

Richard Parkinson, 23, of Crown Lane, Bartle, Preston, is banned for 20 months after being found guilty of drink driving and must pay a £600 fine, £60 surcharge and £625 costs.
