LEYLAND: A drunken man assaulted a woman, a court heard.

Callum Taylor, 21, of St Christine’s Avenue, Farington, Leyland, admits drunk and disorderly behaviour and assault to magistrates.

He must pay £20 compensation, £85 costs and observe a restraining order and a probation activity.

CHORLEY: Joseph Lynch, 28, of Longworth Avenue, Coppull, Chorley, was found guilty of a charge of dishonestly receiving stolen goods following a trial.

The case relates to a BMX bike worth £400.

He must pay a £75 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs, Preston Magistrates’ Court ruled.

LANCASTER: A man who admits breaching a restraining order will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court.

Ryan Crabtree, 21, of Shakespeare Road, Lancaster, was remanded in custody until June 26.

LANCASTER: A woman who smashed windows at four shops in Lancaster has admitted four counts of criminal damage.

Lydia Johnson, 21, of Willow Lane, Lancaster, went on a wrecking spree in the city on May 31.

Lancaster Magistrates’ Court imposed a curfew and she must also pay £400 compensation and a £150 courts charge.

BAMBER BRIDGE: A man who admits driving through Bamber Bridge while he was unfit through drugs has been banned from the road for 18 months.

Andrew Vale, 45, of Redlam, Blackburn, must pay a £190 fine, a £20 surcharge, and £200 prosecution costs, Preston Magistrates’ Court ruled.

LANCASTER: Rebecca Valente, 38, of Cleveleys Avenue, Lancaster, admits driving without due care and attention, and must pay a £90 fine, plus a £20 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs, magistrates have ruled.

Shazad Ashraf, 37, of New Hall Lane, Preston, must pay a £200 fine, £20 surcharge and £110 costs after being found guilty of driving without the right insurance.

Scott Barlow, 33, of Dallas Street, Plungington, Preston, must pay a £133 fine, £57 surcharge and £90 costs after admitting falsely declaring his car was off the road.

Geraldine Brewis, 40, of Brownedge Road, Lostock Hall, Preston, must pay a £200 fine, £20 surcharge and £110 costs after being found guilty of driving without the right insurance.

Margaret Newsham, 45, of Stanhope Avenue, Morecambe, admits assaulting a man and must pay a £35 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Joseph Richardson-Eaton, 29, of Hubert Place, Lancaster, was discharged for six months after admitting damaging a door and must pay £25 compensation, £15 surcharge, £50 costs and a £150 courts charge.

James Nevins, 26, of Highgate, Goosnargh, Preston, is banned for 17 months after admitting drink driving and must pay a £300 fine, £30 surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Christopher James, 33, of St George’s Quay, Lancaster, was discharged for six months after admitting assaulting a man and must pay a £15 surcharge, a £150 court charge and £85 costs.

Christopher Low, 62, of Shakespeare Road, Lancaster, admits driving without due care and attention, and must pay a £35 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Elizabeth Duke, 45, of Rupert Street, Carnforth, is banned for 12 months after admitting failing to give a breath test and must pay a £460 fine, £46 surcharge and £50 costs.

Karen Higgins, 56, of Wilson Grove, Heysham, was discharged for six months after admitting theft and must pay a £15 surcharge, and £50 costs.
