Shoplifter’s 11 thefts

A SHOPLIFTER who committed 11 thefts has had his 12 week jail term suspended for 12 months.

Gregg Dunne, 30, of Mosley Street, Leyland, admitted stealing cigarettes, shaving balms, coffee and copper piping from outlets in Preston and Leyland.

The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court said he was a “prolific offender” and gave him a drug treatment order, a rehabilitation requirement, and a £115 surcharge.

BAMBER BRIDGE: Simon Christopher Chapman, 47, of Calico Close, Bamber Bridge, has admitted his role in a racist incident.

He pleaded guilty to using racially aggravated threatening or abusive behaviour.

He must pay a £140 fine, £50 compensation to his victim, a £30 surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

PRESTON: A woman who attacked a man has had her 12 week jail term suspended.

Lyndsay Robinson, 31, of Hammond Court, Preston, admitted causing her victim actual bodily harm.

She was given a rehabilitation requirement by magistrates and must pay a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.

BAMBER BRIDGE: Amanda Mccleary, 41, of Station Road, Bamber Bridge, was banned from B and M for six months after admitting stealing household goods during three thefts, and must pay an £85 surcharge and £85 costs.

PRESTON: Cheryl Ann Hesketh, of Mark Close, Penwortham, near Preston, admits assaulting a woman.

The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court ordered the 22-year-old defendant to pay a £10 fine, an £85 surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

She must also have treatment for alcohol dependency, the court ruled.

PRESTON: A pensioner has admitted assaulting a man and smashingbhis £400 i-Phone.

Katherine Houghton, 73, of Bleasdale Street East, Deepdale, Preston, admits criminal damage.

She was discharged conditionally for two years and must pay £200 compensation, a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

PRESTON: William Brown, 37, of Yewtree Avenue, Ribbleton, Preston, admits stealing a bulldog garden statue from a man and must pay a £120 fine, £30 surcharge and £85 costs, a court ruled.

James Johnson, 28, of Greenset Close, Lancaster, was found guilty of failing to give driver information and must pay a £660 fine, £66 surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Milburn, 26, of Kings Drive, Carnforth, was found guilty of using an illegal numberplate which had letters that were too small, and must pay a £220 fine, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.

Jogy Jose, 41, of Denville Road, Preston, was found guilty of using a car with faulty rear lights and must pay a £220 fine, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.

Steven Francis Parr, 36, of Longacre, Bamber Bridge, near Preston, admits driving without insurance and must pay a £280 fine, £28 surcharge and £85 costs.

Adrian Robinson, 44, of The Square, Scorton, near Lancaster, was found guilty of failing to give driver information and must pay a £660 fine, £66 surcharge and £85 costs.

James Garcia-Lucas, 38, of Corporation Street, Chorley, admits possessing cannabis and must pay a £200 fine, £30 surcharge and £85 costs.

James Steven Higgins, 47, of Fishergate, Preston, admits stealing two boxes of tampons and must pay £4 compensation.

Andre Moffett, 24, of Albrighton Crescent, Lostock Hall, near Preston, was banned from driving for 12 months after admitting drink driving and must pay a £320 fine, £32 surcharge and £85 costs.

Sever Banu, 24, of Nimes Street, Callon, Preston, was banned from driving for 22 months after admitting drink driving and must pay a £290 fine, £30 surcharge and £85 costs.

Danielle Victoria Mann, 35, of Gilbert Street, Chorley, admits driving without insurance and must pay a £120 fine, £30 surcharge and £85 costs.
