Hunt for man involved in glass attack

After a man was struck over head with a glass, detectives are appealing for help to trace a man they would like to speak to about the incident.

Gary Hall, 25, from the Ashton area of Preston, is wanted in connection with the serious assault which happened at around 6pm on Monday, February 22 in the car park of the Phantom Winger pub on Garstang Road, Fulwood.

It is thought that a 23-year-old man was struck over the head with a glass and the victim was taken for treatment at Royal Preston Hospital.

Detective sergeant Jerry Sturgess of Preston Police said: “This is a serious incident and a man has been left with a nasty head injury as a result. I would urge Gary Hall or anyone who knows his current whereabouts to get in touch with the police. As well as being wanted in connection with these matters Gary Hall has also been classed as a high risk missing person. If anyone else has any other information or may have witnessed what happened or the events leading up to the assault, to please come forward as any information you hold could help us with our enquiries.”
