A man who intended to deal drugs he hid in his boxer shorts has been jailed for four years.
Daniel James, 21, of Lex Street, Preston, was caught with the drugs - near a park while children were present – despite being on bail for the same offence.
Officers found cocaine, heroin, and crack stashed in his underpants, while other drugs were hidden in a sock rolled up in the waistband of his trousers.
He admitted four counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Prosecuting, Karen Brooks said: “He was arrested in July for an unrelated offence and police recovered drugs from his waistband and his underpants.
“There were 35 wraps of heroin, that would be worth around £660 in retail value.”
He was bailed but in September he was seen on Fishwick Road, close to a rec zone used by children.
Officers found wraps of heroin and crack in a sock in his waistband, and his boxer shorts.
Recorder Tania Griffiths QC said: “One would have thought the discovery of drugs the first time was enough to bring you to your senses but no, it seems to have been nothing more than an inconvenient disruption to your business.”
