A man was left unconscious after being punched at a bar in Lancashire.

The 33-year-old was assaulted at a sports bar in Lancaster at the weekend and was left with a fractured eye socket.

Police have now released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to after the incident.

The attack happened on the afternoon of Sunday, March 22, when the victim was approached by two men in Squires Bar on Church Street.

It is believed that one of the men punched the victim to the floor while the second man punched him repeatedly while he was unconscious.

Police said the man was left with a fractured eye socket and needed stitches to his eye, chin and mouth as a result of the attack.

Officers are keen to trace the two men pictured in the CCTV images.
