Four men have been found guilty of murdering Preston teenager Jonjo Highton.

Jon-Jo’s mum Tracey wept in the public gallery as Jon-Jo’s former friend Owen Whitesmith was convicted of killing the dad-of-one in a vicious street attack in St Stephens Road last August.

Arran Graham, Stephen Walton, and Craig Walton have also been found guilty of being involved in the machete and sword attack which left Jon-Jo with a severed jugular artery and multiple stab and slash wounds.

The jury has now retired to consider the remaining counts.
