Boy, 13, missing from Preston

A 13-year-old boy has gone missing from Preston, say police.

James Knowles was last seen in the Ingol area at around midday on August 18.

He is described by police as white, 5ft 3in tall, of slim build with short light brown hair. He has a local accent and at the time of his disappearance he was wearing a dark Northface waterproof top and bottoms.

A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for information about a 13-year-old missing person from the Preston area.

"James has strong links to the Preston area and its believed he could be in the Broadgate or city centre area."
