PC 3579 Coupe said: "We are currently investigating an arson incident which occurred at the rear of RK Sweets on Plungington Road.

"A large industrial bin was set on fire which had it not been extinguished could have spread to nearby buildings.

"The group involved did not only start this fire but then believed it fun to play with it: placing their hands in and out which could have resulted in some significant injuries."
