Police are appealing for information after a traffic cone was thrown at a moving bus in Preston.
A single decker bus was travelling from Preston Bus Station towards Lord Street when just before the junction with Lancaster Road, a traffic cone, weighted with a large lump of concrete was thrown from the balcony of the Guild Hall towards one of the side windows of the bus, smashing glass and causing two passengers to move out of the way.
The two female passengers were shaken after the incident on at around 8.15pm on Tuesday July 29 and one woman suffered minor cuts to an ankle.
It is believed that the traffic cone could have been thrown by a group of six teenagers, possibly four boys and two girls.
