Officers are appealing for information after a man was the victim of an unprovoked attack .
The 24-year-old man was outside Baluga bar on Church Street, Preston, when he was approached by an unknown man who head-butted him, causing him to fall to the floor. As a result, he hit his head on the pavement and lost consciousness.
The victim was taken to Royal Preston Hospital after the attack, in the early hours of November 3, where he received treatment for his head injury.
PC John Booth of Preston Police said: “This was a nasty, apparently unprovoked assault.
“We have made several enquiries so far and have now taken the step of releasing CCTV images of a man we are looking to speak to in connection with the assault.
“If anyone recognises the man in the images or has any other information they think could assist, then I would ask them to come forward.”
