Mobile stolen from toilets

A mobile phone worth £200 was stolen from the toilets of a city centre bar.

The white Blackberry Bold was stolen after being left unattended next to the sink in the toilet of Baluga Bar in Miller Arcade.

It was stolen between 1am and 1.10am on bank holiday Monday.

Call police on 101.

£50 damage to front door

Around £50 of damage has been caused to the front door of a house on Glover Street in Preston.

Some time between 3.30pm and 3.40pm on Wednesday an offender threw a small stone damaging the window of the door.

Anybody with any information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101.

Bike thefts in city’s suburb

A city suburb has been hit with a spate of bicycle thefts.

Residents who live close to Preston Dock have seen an increase in bike thefts during recent months.

Police have told the area’s Pact meeting they will continue to target known bike thieves. An increase in the number of complaints about motorcycle nuisance in Wallend and Lockside Road have also been received.
