Chimney pots were stolen

Two ornamental chimney pots were stolen from the side of a front door of a home on Watling Street Road, Fulwood, Preston.

It happened between 10pm on December 11 and 8am on December 12, according to police.

The pots were three and a half feet tall with a square base and round top and are painted with a red brown primer. Call police on 101 with any information.

Broken down car was target

A motorist returned to his broken down Vauxhall Corsa to find a thief had broken into it and stolen a sat nav.

The thief struck at the junction of Webster Street and Wellington Road in Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, between 8.55am and 9am on December 12.

Witnesses can call 101.

Motorhome in theft attempt

A Fiat motorhome parked at a home on Millersgate, Cottam, Preston, was ransacked by would-be thieves but no property was stolen.

The vehicle was unlocked when the thieves struck, sometime between December 11 and December 12.
