Fire crews have been called to tackle a blaze at a home in Preston.

Four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform went to Moor Hall Street just after 2pm on Friday, where there was a fire in the roof space of a mid-terraced property.

Fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus had been inside the house fighting the flames, but had to leave the property over fears the blaze had made the ceiling unsafe.

An aerial ladder was then in use.

Crews stopped the fire from spreading to other properties, and nobody was hurt.
