Children and parents flooded in to Brockholes nature reserve for some post-Christmas creative fun.
More than50 children of all ages visited the site in Preston with family across the weekend to try withy lantern making with pieces of willow.
Brockholes retail and visitor services supervisor Grace Ashworth said: “The weekend was a great success, we sold out on Monday afternoon and we were very busy.
“We managed to show children that they can use natural materials to make something really pretty.
“Lantern making is a family activity so mums and dads got involved too, we have run these workshops in the past and had a great response.
“All of the proceeds from the event will go back into funding the nature reserve, it was a great way to end the year.”
