Police are searching for a man who left his home to buy cigarettes and has not been seen since.

Paul Farley was last seen at his home on Moor Lane in Coppull at around 2.30pm on Sunday.

He is thought to have been travelling in his white Renault Kangoo van, which was spotted on the M6 heading northbound towards Cumbria on Monday morning.

He is known to visit Scotland and may have links to Dumfries.

Paul is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with short grey hair.

He was last known to be wearing a blue crew neck top and black trousers.

“We are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Paul and would urge anyone who may have seen him or who knows where he may be to get in touch as soon as possible. Similarly I would urge Paul if he sees this appeal to get in touch to let us know that you are safe.”
