Youths snatch necklace
AN elderly woman had an Indian gold necklace pulled from her neck while cleaning her car in Holme Slack Lane, Preston.
Police said the woman was very distressed by the incident which occurred at 9.15pm on Monday, July 21.
Two males, aged between 17 and 20 are wanted in connection with the robbery.
One was wearing all black with his hood up, and the other, was around 5ft 5in, slim, with dark shaved hair.

THE Rosemere Cancer Foundation is hosting a five-mile “Walk the Lights” trek through Blackpool’s world famous illuminations and is calling for people to take part.

OBJECTIONS have been raised over plans to build a detached house with garage on land at 6 Marsh Lane, Longton.

Residents of Aspendale Crescent say it will “destroy it as a low traffic area”, and is ‘garden grabbing’.
