A former council benefits advisor has pleaded not guilty to cheating the benefits system out of £19,000.
Anita Cockburn, aged 43, of Kingston Close, Knott End, an ex Wyre Borough Council contacts centre officer, was not present at court.
Her defence lawyer, Robert Castle, entered not guilty pleas on her behalf to the five offences she faces.
She is accused of three offences of dishonestly failing to notify a change in circumstances and two offences of making a false statement to obtain benefits.
Cockbain is alleged to have illegally claimed Disability Living Allowance from the Department of Work and Pensions by failing to reveal her physical capabilities had improved.
She is also said to have illegally claimed council tax and housing benefits from her former employers at Wyre Borough Council.
The offences are alleged to have taken place over six years between April 2008 and June last year.
Cockburn’s case was adjourned to fix a trial date by District Judge Ian Lomax sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
