Anthony Robert Stott, 65, of Halliwell Court, Chorley, was fined £60 for driving at more than the legal 30mph along Shepherds Way on February 14. Chorley magistrates also ordered him to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for six months and his driving record was endorsed with four points.

Shehzad Iqbal, 33, of Hereford Grove, Buckshaw Village, admitted to driving without wearing a seat belt when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. The offence happened in Station Brow, on March 5. He was fined £40, and had to pay £20 victim surcharge and £40 court costs.

Kelly Ann Henry, 28, of Grimeford Lane, Anderton, admitted damaging a glass window to the value of £200 belonging to Joanne Hilton on July 30 when she appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. She had to pay £200 compensation to the victim, plus £20 victim surcharge.

Jason Allen, 43, of Clayton Green, was sent to prison for 18 weeks for contacting a woman whilst under a restraining order between July 21 and October 8. Preston magistrates also ordered him to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £115.

Craig Colman, 24, of Bahreinis, Euxton, was fined £220 at Preston Magistrates’ Court for driving in Hazel Close, Chorley, on March 24, whilst not wearing a seat belt. He also had to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Stuart Joseph McDonnell, 39, of Park Road, Adlington, was fined £235 by Preston Magistrates’ Court for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph on Chorley Road on July 4. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £ 85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
