A charity choir will join forces with a top band for an afternoon concert today.
Galloway’s Society for the Blind will hold a performance with Leyland Brass Band.
The event which is being held at the Penwortham Priory Academy starts at 3pm.
Emma Russ, senior fundraiser at Galloway’s said: “We are really excited about this special concert, our choir have worked really hard rehersing for the concert and to be backed by the famous Leyland Brass Band is a real coup.”
All proceeds from the performance will go towards providing vital support and services for local blind and visually impaired people.

Galloway’s has centres across Lancashire and its services are available to anyone with a visual impairment.
