Child rescued from railings by fire crews
A child had to be rescued by fire crews after getting her head stuck in railings.
Fire crews were called to a park area in School Lane in Longton, at about 6.20pm on Thursday, to reports of a three-year-old girl with had her head stuck between bars.
Firefighters from Penwortham fire station used specialist hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue the child.
Crews said she was uninjured.
