Charity Galloway’s Society For The Blind is holding a focus group in Chorley for people who are blind and partially sighted.

It will be held from 10am to 3pm on Thursday, March 27, at its centre on Farrington Street, Chorley.

Representatives from the charity want to speak to people about sight loss, specialist equipment, talking books and other topics.

Audrey Gardiner, from the charity, said: “We’re there to help people, along with their families, through that sight loss journey, and with open days like this, we hope to reach out to more people in our community.

“We’re encouraging anybody in the area with a visual impairment to pop in and see what we have to offer.”

For more information, contact Audrey on 01527 275160 or audrey.gardiner@galloways.org.uk.
