A charity ladies evening raised over £1500 for charity.

Louise Ayre, fiance of Adam Swarbrick, who tragically died from a sudden heart attack, would like to extend her thanks to all who attended the event at Garstang Golf Club and dontated towards CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Louise would also like to thank Yolanda Collinson, the wife of Adam’s former boss who organised the evening after hearing about Adam’s sudden death.

Louise, who was due to marry Adam in October, said; “It was a brilliant evening and I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the stall holders, tickets sellers and to everyone who came down to support us.”

Adam worked for the Collinson company for 13 years.

Over 300 people attended the fashion and shopping evening and raised £1539 in total.

Louise said; “When Yolanda heard about Adam she approached me about organising an event in memory of him.

“I would also like to thank the Golf Club for hosting the evening and to Crimpers Hair Salon for doing the hair for all the models.”

During the evening fashion from Mobu Online was showcased and a variety of stalls sold their wares for guests to pick up some early Christmas presents.

Louise has set up a charity in Adam’s name called The A.D.A.M appeal (After Death Appears Miracles) and plans to host fundraising events in future.
