Cathedral Holocaust lecture

A talk has been organised to highlight the horrors of the Holocaust.

The event will be hosted by Prof Bill Williams from the University of Manchester on Monday, July 13, at Lancaster Cathedral, from 8pm.

The talk – The Saved and the Trapped – will outline the experience of a young refugee from Vienna who arrived in Manchester in 1939.

The event is part of the Anne Frank: A History For Today exhibition, will run until July 22.

Meanwhile, on Monday, July 20, from 6.15pm there will be a screening of the acclaimed film set during the Holocaust, The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, at the Dukes Theatre, Lancaster.
