Casino to open its doors
Celebrities Lisa Snowden and Lee Evans will be attending the star-studded opening of a £3.5m Lancashire casino on Thursday.
The G Casino Sandcastle in Blackpool will feature the biggest poker room in the country which seats up to 250 people, as well as 15 gaming tables, 26 roulette stations and 46 slot machines.
Sandcastle general manager, Dawn Higgins, said: "We are delighted to launch the new G Casino Sandcastle and bring a new entertainment experience to Blackpool residents and holiday makers.
"So far, we have created six new jobs which have been filled and the whole team are looking forward to welcoming everyone down to the casino to enjoy the ultimate night out."
The new G Casino is built within the 20,000 sq ft premises of the former Grosvenor Casino, and has created six new jobs, bringing the total number of employees to 91.
