A Chorley gym that provides expert sport-specific training has been paid a visit by Rob Loughenbury, the rugby-playing prospective Conservative MP for Chorley.
Sportesse-PT is owned and managed by Dave Bell, former Head of Strength and Conditioning at top rugby union clubs Harlequins and Bristol.
The gym also has a resident physio, Emma Fletcher, former head physio at Wigan Rugby League.
Rob, part of Chorley RUFC 2nd team, visited the gym to highlight a local small business and promote sports fitness.
Dave said: “I wanted to create a gym that was a bit different. Every sport requires different physical abilities and the training we provide here reflects that.
“We are growing our membership and working to establish links with local sports teams and schools.”
Rob said: “I have played rugby for years and I understand the value of doing sport-specific training.
“Chorley is blessed to have such world class expertise locally and I encourage anyone involved in sport to get in touch with Dave and try the gym out. Sport and fitness has always been a big part of my life and it is great to have linked up with yet another terrific business growing up here in Chorley.”
