A Lancaster-based consultancy firm will provide its expertise to universities and colleges across the UK, after winning a competitive tender for a national framework agreement.
The Networking People (TNP) has been appointed to the competitive UK Higher Education and Further Education Purchasing Consortia’s national Network Framework Agreement.
Bidding for one of the four lots, TNP was selected to work with five other chosen bidders to engage with higher and further education bodies on a consultancy basis.
Chris Wade, director at TNP, said: “Winning a place on the framework further emphasises our depth of knowledge and expertise in providing IT consultancy to the public sector. We’re thrilled to have received this recognition on a national scale, validating TNP as a major player within the industry.
“Our work delivering such projects to the public sector has given us invaluable insight into its specific problems and needs, making us ideally placed to offer consultancy advice to the country’s universities and colleges as part of this lucrative framework.”
The contract adds to TNP’s portfolio of projects within the public sector, following a recent £3.2m contract with Blackpool Council to design and build a wide area network owned by the local authority.
