The team behind Lancashire’s first trampoline park are jumping for joy after a bumper couple of weeks since they opened their doors.
Energi Trampoline Park in Preston is now in full swing at Queens Retail Park, Avenham.
Four entrepreneurs have forked out more than £750,000 and used more than 70,000 springs to build a state-of- the-art 25,000 square foot 174-trampoline hub.
The child-friendly, health-focused super hub is the brainchild of couple Steve and Beverley Butterfield from Wrea Green and Andy and Helen Ince from Manchester.
The centre opened its doors shortly before half term and the woners could hardly believe the massive response.
Once the schools broke up for the week, the trampoline park was besieged with bookings.
Beverley said: “The response has been fantastic. We already have over 8,000 followers on Facebook and we’ve had some great reviews.
“ I can’t believe how well it has taken off. Local people e have really taken to it but others are travelling from far and wide.”
She said she and the 50 or so staff were extremely busy and customers of all ages were enjoying the experience.
“It’s something that all the family can do,” said Beverley., “and it keeps you fit. The kids are keeping fit without even realising it.”
