Michael was also presented with his apprenticeship qualification at the graduation ceremony which was attended by family and friends.

The award went to the apprentice who has excelled during their apprenticeship programme, demonstrating excellent commitment, progress and enthusiasm.

Speaking about his win, Michael said; “I was really pleased to have won the award and to be recognised for the work that I do for Busy Bees.

“It came as a bit of a shock as it was a tough category but I’m very happy and I’m looking forward to continuing my work and training with the company in the future.”

Each of the winners received a special gift and award as well as a certificate to proudly display at home.

At the event, over 100 graduating apprentices of all levels from Busy Bees nurseries across the country gathered to celebrate the completion of apprenticeship programmes in catering, childcare and management.
