Sandon House Clinic – which houses a private cosmetic surgery company of the same name – has been rebranded Greater Lancashire Hospital by Bespoke Healthcare ahead of its first NHS contract.
Based in Millennium City Park, Preston, the company was acquired by Bespoke Healthcare in January.
The healthcare business immediately announced plans to move into general daycare surgery and investigative procedures for patients from hospitals, CCGs and GPs in the North West.
The move also entails an enhancement of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments.
The seven-strong team of practice nurses and office staff, who possess well over 80 years experience, are now taking on responsibilities for both NHS and private patients.
Greater Lancashire Hospital is a CQC-registered premises with two state-of-the-art theatre suites, two dedicated treatment and consulting rooms and private recovery areas.
Gwam Rajiah, managing director of Bespoke Healthcare, said: “All patients, both NHS and private, will feel safe knowing they are visiting a facility that meets the highest possible healthcare standards and receiving treatments with fully-trained, senior staff who are second-to-none.
“Since the business was acquired in January we have said that we will enter primary care to streamline patient pathways, provide care out of hospital and reduce waiting times, and these messages are resounding through the North West healthcare community.
“We will announce our first NHS contract in due course.”
Founded in 2006, Bespoke Healthcare is a leading independent provider of nerve conduction study tests and intraoperative monitoring services for the NHS.
The company has seen over 50,000 patients nationwide for leading Foundation Trusts including The Walton Centre, Alder Hey and The Countess of Chester.
