The Pavilion Café at Williamson Park in Lancaster has been awarded a Taste Lancashire Quality Assured accreditation.
Last month, a secret inspection was carried out and an assessor rated the entire customer experience from first impressions to service, hospitality and the food quality. The café scored 70 per cent with high scores for first impressions, ambience, hospitality and food presentation and quality.
The assessor for Taste Lancashire, Andrew Ball said: “The Pavilion Café continues to be awarded the Taste Lancashire Accreditation after this visit, for which the whole team are to be congratulated. Local produce and suppliers are well documented, which is very good to see, allowing visitors to the café to be able to trace originality of produce. A very good selection of dishes are available to guests, catering well for all appetites.”
Coun David Smith, cabinet member for parks, said: “This award is a great achievement and is down to a talented team who have worked hard to create a fantastic menu.”
