Budding publicans wanting to run their own pub have been invited to an open day.

Admiral Taverns are hosting an event in Kirkham on Wednesday, March 6 as part of a recruitment drive for new landlords.

It will be held at the Top House pub on Freckleton Street.

Anyone is welcome to come along on the day and find out more about being a licensee.

Previous experience of the pub trade isn’t necessary.

Suzanne Smith, head of licensee recruitment and training at Admiral Taverns, said: “We are very excited to be coming to Kirkham to meet potential pub tenants – we’re looking for inspirational individuals that want the freedom and flexibility that comes with running their own business.

“They don’t need to have run a pub before, but they do need buckets of enthusiasm, an enterprising outlook and a will to succeed.”

It will take place from midday to 6pm.

Business development managers will be on hand during the day to talk guests through the pubs available.
